Yes Rose, I still want you to attend college.

Even with the swift advancement of AI and things like ChatGPT, I still think (at least for now) that my granddaughters should attend college.

Going to college is an important step in a person's life, and it's especially crucial for kids as they make the transition into adulthood. Not only does college provide access to valuable knowledge and resources, but it also allows for the development of essential life skills that can't be learned in a classroom.

One of the most significant benefits of college is the human experience. Being surrounded by a diverse group of people from different backgrounds and cultures can open up new perspectives and help students develop empathy and understanding. College also provides opportunities for students to learn how to communicate effectively and build relationships with others. These skills are vital for success in both personal and professional life.

With the rise of AI and technology, some may argue that the value of a college education is decreasing. However, the experience of going to college and the skills and knowledge gained through it are often more important than the book knowledge itself. College provides a unique opportunity for personal growth and development that can't be replicated by technology.
