If a job can be done remotely, I recommend allowing it. If a task can be completed on a keyboard or phone, I encourage you to offer at least some flexibility for remote work.

When we talk to candidates at Recruiting Firm Riderflex about opportunities, the first question we get is about the ability to work remotely. If I tell them it's 100% on-site, about 90% of them withdraw their application.

According to Google/ChatGPT, companies insisting on "on-site only" jobs cut their candidate pool by 50% to 80%.

In addition, only offering on-site roles can lead to:
✅ Longer hiring times
✅ Higher recruitment costs
✅ Missing out on top talent

Don't be fooled by Oil & Gas companies and Commercial Real Estate folks telling you that people want to return to the office. They don't. I talk to candidates daily (for a living!), and I can assure you that 90% of them want some remote flexibility.
