"WHY have you posted so much about AI and Robotics lately?" -- Recently, someone asked why I've been posting so much about AI and Robotics.

I'm paying close attention because these technologies are having, and will continue to have, a massive and swift impact on the workforce, jobs, careers, hiring, and more.

As you know, I'm in the recruiting, hiring, and career advice industry with Riderflex. What happens with AI and Robotics will greatly affect my company.

Here's how I recommend you consider what's happening: How is it already affecting your company and job? What steps are you taking to pivot, adapt, change, and prepare?

The biggest, most powerful companies on the planet have invested billions into the rapid development of robotics. Why? Because they know it's the future.

The smartest people on earth have repeatedly said that most jobs and functions in the future will be replaced by AI and Robotics. I find it fascinating that some people casually dismiss this news, as if it's not really going to happen.

Is Johnny down at the bar more accurate than the brightest minds and the most powerful companies in existence?

Because what's happening will greatly affect hiring and jobs, I know it will impact, and is already impacting, Riderflex.

For whatever reason, I care deeply about sharing advice and encouragement to others to pay close attention and make informed decisions based on what the future will look like.

I'll leave you with a question:

There are two sides to the predictions I hear on this topic. Some, like Brett Adcock from Figure (in this interview linked below), believe we'll have a "world of abundance" where most humans won't have to work.

Others believe it will lead to the collapse of the economy and the structural integrity of commerce.

What are your thoughts and opinions? I'm curious.

Here's mine...

I believe we'll eventually reach a point where AI and Robots do most jobs, allowing humans to pursue what they love. We might achieve some type of utopia once the dust settles. However, I also believe that between now and that point, it will be messy and scary for many people and companies as we figure it out.

The concept of "universal basic income" sounds nice at first, but implementing it while keeping the masses happy will be very difficult, painful, and messy.

Check out this interview. Have you seen the video of the Figure robot. This guys is the CEO of that company. Jeff Bezos, Open AI, and Nvidia just gave him several billion dollars. I recommend listening to this section first.
